What you could win!

The winning entry will receive a $1000 prize comprised of $500 cash to the entrant and $500 that will be paid directly to the eligible dog service organization of entrant’s choice.

Important notes!

• The contest runs from March 1 until May 15th 2009. The winner will be announced at Richmond Animal League’s Woofstock event on May 30th.

• NO entry will be returned!

• You may enter more than once.

• Still photos and short videos (less than one minute) are both welcome.

• There is NO entry fee.

• There is to be no mistreatment of any animal or person in creating or capturing thre images.

• The contest is not open to any employee of FamilyDog Digest or the sponsor, Contain-A-Pet of Richmond.

• Entrant must certify that they are the owner of the images.

• Entrant agrees to let FamilyDog Digest and Contain-A-Pet use the images in print or digital form for publicity, news, or entertainment purposes. (You retain ownership of all images entered!).

• We are not responsible for lost, misdirected, corrupted or unopenable files.

• The winner will be selected by a panel of judges (photographers, humane executives, dog lovers). The decision of the judges will be final.

• The designated dog service organization must be a certified tax-exempt non profit (501c-3) organization that provides service to dogs and their people. It must be in existence as of March 1, 2009 and continuing through May 30, 2009.
