The Greater Richmond Chapter of the American Red Cross is holding a Pet First Aid Class on Saturday, August 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. I believe it will be held at the American Red Cross, Greater Richmond Chapter, 420 E. Cary Street (corner of 5th & Cary Streets), Richmond, VA 23219.
Learn how to administer immediate, temporary care that will sustain your pet until you can get to the vet. You’ll also learn emergency procedures such as CPR and rescue breathing, and you’ll get to take home tips on providing daily care and helping your dog or cat be healthy and happy.
The class will be 4 hours long and you will receive a certificate for attending. The course will cost $40.00. Please bring a bag lunch or dinner.
